Campaign Update: COVID-19

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic my campaign for re-election to the The Village City Council on April 7th will be slightly different than I had imagined. I’ve decided to cancel any public meet and greets, and drastically scale back my door knocking campaign. Out of an abundance of caution, especially for senior voters, I will distribute campaign materials to voter households but not knock on the door. Please don’t be alarmed if you see me approach your door, place a door hanger, and move on. If you would like to visit at that time, I’m happy to, but I ask that we mutually respect each other’s health by maintaining a safe distance and not shaking hands.

In the hope of better connecting with residents, I will host several Facebook Lives ahead of the election in April. I hope you can join me so we can chat about the future of The Village. The first one will be tomorrow, Sunday March 15th at 3 pm right here on my Facebook page.

I love our city, community, neighbors, and friends. As we go through this unprecedented time, please keep in mind the health of others and exercise every precaution which will hopefully #flattenthecurve and ensure the health of our city.
